That's not the problem in my opinion: people love good stories, and moreover, they like being told what they want to hear. The problem, in my opinion, is that this theme is way overused. You'd think that by 2014, people would get tired of the "world is in danger, man saves it" trope, and that yes, the world has problem, and that no, there is no saving it. These are simply <em>povești de adormit copiii</em>, as we used to say over in the colonies. So what exactly is there "pretty good" in Interstellar? I've no idea.
