It's hard to trust anything anymore these days, but it apparently turns out that CG's campaign was financed by the local PNL, that is, what at the time was supposedly the Chuk's party.

There's many ways to read this, but the main one, which I find absolutely infuriating, is the stupid Romanians' haste to panic over the lies of the so-called "official" propaganda: ok, so not only was the whole "Russian campaign financing" episode a red herring, but more importantly, stupid Romanians swallowed it whole. And do you know what this means? It means that they'll do it all over again, just like they did it during covid and just like they did it now, and then they'll confess to having lied to you and given your lack of reaction, dear stupid Romanians, you'll get stolen time and again.
